Our group

Promote gender equality from an early age through education, awareness.

Our subject is Promote gender equality from an early age through education, awareness.
It comes from the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goal number 4, which is entitled "Quality education".

Our research question

The research question we have formulated together is:
" How to educate young girls about how to protect themselves facing sexual harassement?".
The two projects ideas below try to answer that question.

Project 1 · Not A Game

Context

Our project will start from November 2021, which will last for 3 years.
The target region of the project is all over the world but we will start from France first, followed by Europe next and come to all around the world in the end.

This projects aims at helping young people aged 14-18 years old to learn about the negative impact of sexual violence and how to overcome gender stereotypes against women and girls.

Target + persona

This project will benefit teenagers from 14-18 and even their parents, letting them to realize the negative impact of sexual violence; the importance of healthy relations and overcoming gender stereotypes against women and girls,etc.

Service offered

The main educational tool: Not A Game, is an investigation adventure where the player becomes a detective across 5 chapters, through mini-games, flashbacks and videos based on real testimonies of violence survivors.

Users will play 11 mini-games, they will set up teams and invite friends to the team, and then watch 9 video stories with real testimonies of survivors of sexual violence and of gender-based violence In this way teenagers are supposed to learn how to identify the act and signs of sexual violence and learn to protect themselves and others in real situations.

Project 2 · Assistance and Support Platform

Context

It's time to empower young women!
According to consentis.info, in party environments in france, 57% of the women do not feel safe alone. 60% of women has already faces sexual harassment and even some times, assault.
This type of situation does not only happen during parties, but also in the street, at work, and sometimes even at home.
This needs to STOP!

Target + persona

For whom?
Even though the main targets of our projects are women of all ages that desire to learn more about how to face sexual harassment, it can also be used by men so they can understand what women are facing in their everyday life, and learn how to support them to overcome those challenges.

Service offered

Self-protection
Providing vedios for girls about how to protect themselves in an effective way. Including physically(actions to take when being harassed) and mentally (lessons on trauma psychology)

Legal Aid
Sharing legal knowledge: how to collect evidence, How to get help from social systems...We can even make contact with lawyers through this column.

Women Empowerment
Acccording to reaseach, 63% of women in the countryside couldn't get the chance to go to high school, because facing limited resources, most of the family choose to support the boys. This gender bias made women less competitive in job market for lacking knowledge and skills. In collaboration with educational organizations, we provide courses on specific skills, empowering women to build a bright future.
